Art Update

Hello friends,

I hope you’re all healthy and safe. This pandemic has affected all of our lives and I wish everyone the very best in this trying time. Like many, I’m unemployed for the time being. Please let me know if you come across any opportunities that you feel might be a good fit for me.

I’m only one of a great number of people that are struggling through this time of uncertainty and economic hardship. Of all the things that need your support right now, my art practice is probably low on the list. In the months leading up to the shutdown, I had accumulated several art opportunities. As of right now, nothing is canceled, only postponed.

My work with high school art departments will be postponed until fall of 2020 and/or spring of 2021.

The Strecker-Nelson West Gallery is still interested in representing me but our meeting has been postponed until further notice.

In 2020, I have three solo-exhibitions and two duo-exhibitions. The first one being a solo-exhibition for the grand re-opening of the Englewood Row Gallery, originally scheduled April through May. Hopefully, it will be safe for the gallery to host this event in early summer. I’ll provide more information as soon as new dates are scheduled. For 2021, I have two solo-exhibitions and one duo-exhibition.

Despite tough times, I’m still building my art career and I have made a long “to do” list. I will continue to create new artwork until my stash of materials runs dry or I get steady work again.
